Held under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and organized with the support of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the event spanned four dynamic days, from November 17 to 20. The 11th edition of PAFIX, dedicated to digital payments and financial inclusivity, once again stood out as a central feature of Cairo ICT. Organized in partnership with the Central Bank of Egypt, PAFIX convened banking authorities, tech leaders, and financial innovators to explore the future of fintech. Discussions focused on expanding secure digital access, improving financial services, and supporting a robust digital economy. Sessions offered actionable solutions to achieve Egypt’s financial inclusion goals while fostering sustained economic growth.
AIDC Launch Marks Technology Advancement
A key highlight of Cairo ICT 2024 was the inauguration of the Artificial Intelligence, Data Centers, and Cloud (AIDC) Exhibition and Conference—an inaugural initiative uniting industry leaders to explore the frontiers of technology. Featuring 12 impactful sessions led by 56 key speakers, the AIDC event addressed emerging challenges and opportunities within these vital sectors, further establishing Egypt as a leader in future-focused technologies.
Connecta Zone Steals the Spotlight
Connecta 2024, held alongside the Cairo ICT 2024 events, organized a series of innovative and unique activities that added both knowledge, entertainment and Key highlights to the event included:
Innovation Arena: In a partnership with Intlaq, the Innovation Arena featured over 67 pioneering speakers and experts who participated in 12 panel discussions, 6 lectures, and 13 workshops to present fresh ideas and modern technological solutions.
Shennovates: Sixteen sessions dedicated to empowering female leaders in the tech ecosystem.
Cybersecurity by CyShield: Six critical sessions tackling modern-day cybersecurity challenges, alongside a live competition involving 20 expert teams.
