The honor, presented at the 7th Annual World Economic Magazine Awards, marks a milestone in Beko Egypt’s journey towards shaping the future of sustainable manufacturing. The company’s efforts have positioned it as a national and regional benchmark in green innovation, circular economy practices, and community-centric growth. More importantly, this recognition reflects not only the outcomes of strategic alignment with global sustainability goals but also Beko’s role in turning those commitments into tangible, measurable progress.

An embodiment of this philosophy is Beko Egypt’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the 10th of Ramadan City exemplifies this vision. Built with a $110 million investment and spanning 114,000 m², the site meets LEED Gold standards and integrates advanced energy-saving and waste-management systems. Beyond its technical merits, the facility has generated over 2,000 direct and indirect local job opportunities and exports more than 60% of its production, establishing Egypt as a pivotal regional hub for sustainable appliance manufacturing.
