Big 5 Construct Egypt and Egypt Infrastructure & Water Expo opens tomorrow

Egypt’s most influential construction event returns to Cairo tomorrow as Big 5 Construct Egypt opens its doors for the 7th edition. Taking place from 17 – 19 June 2025 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC), the event is held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt and supported by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and the Egyptian Armed Forces Engineering Authority. It is co-located with the 3rd edition of Egypt Infrastructure & Water Expo, creating a unified platform for public and private stakeholders to connect across the construction, infrastructure and water value chain.
Strategic co-location aligns with Egypt’s national priorities
The co-location of Big 5 Construct Egypt with Egypt Infrastructure & Water Expo reflects a strong cross-sector collaboration among construction, infrastructure and water. With Egypt making significant investments in urban development, water management and national road networks, the exhibitions offer visitors the opportunity to source products, assess project solutions and engage in dialogue across disciplines.
Showcasing product & solutions diversity
This year’s event hosts more than 350 exhibitors from over 20 countries, including Egypt, China, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, United Arabi Emirates and the UK. From heavy equipment to digital construction tools, the exhibitor line-up represents a full spectrum of project needs. Participating companies such as BEAM, Oddo Middle East, Trimble Solutions and Delta Coatings International will present their latest products, services, systems and solutions to industry professionals.
CPD-certified sessions across Big 5 Talks, Water360 and Infra360
Visitors at Big 5 Construct Egypt will also benefit from access to Big 5 Talks, which includes more than 30 CPD-certified sessions covering sustainability, technology, facilities management, project management and leadership. These are led by high-profile speakers from the Federation of Egyptian Industries, Ministry of Environment, International Code Council, The Urban Institute, Orascom Construction and others.
This year’s edition once again hosts dedicated Infra360 and Water360 content streams, which bring infrastructure and water to the fore. Over 20 CPD-certified technical sessions explore real-world challenges such as water scarcity, urban resilience, smart cities and infrastructure planning, alongside themes like circular economy and urban connectivity. More than 50 companies working across utilities, energy, waste, transport and communication systems are expected to take part in these discussions, creating an space for practical knowledge exchange and sector-wide alignment.
A 60-second challenge with Bosch
Construction professionals with a competitive streak can put their skills to the test with Screw It by Bosch, a fast-paced challenge designed to showcase speed, precision and control. Using top-tier tools like the GDS 18V-1600 HC Professional and GDS 18V-1050 H Professional, participants will have just 60 seconds to drill four clean holes and drive in four screws with maximum accuracy to secure a Bosch give away or win a full professional Bosch tool kit.
Old is Bold celebrates Egypt’s heritage
An architectural mural puzzle inspired by the work of renowned architect and urbanist Mostafa Salem, Old is Bold offers visitors the opportunity to explore Cairo’s architectural past through hands-on engagement, bringing the city’s early 20th century landmarks back to life.
Bokra Innovators supports future talent
Bokra Innovators returns for its 2nd edition on 19 June, as Big 5 Construct Egypt’s flagship programme for students and recent graduates in the field of construction. Powered by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and Career 180, it offers skills-building, industry insights and direct hiring opportunities through specialized sessions on innovation, growth and career development.
