In celebration of five decades of successful operations in Egypt, SKF, the global leader in bearing technologies and industrial solutions, hosted an exclusive event under the title “Heavy Industries Day”. The occasion reaffirmed the company’s unwavering commitment to advancing national industrial capabilities, particularly across the steel, cement, and paper sectors, pillars of Egypt’s heavy industry landscape.
The event convened a distinguished audience, including H.E. Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Egypt, alongside prominent figures from Egypt’s industrial and investment community, senior executives of leading local and international companies operating in heavy production sectors.

In his opening speech, the Swedish Ambassador highlighted the depth of bilateral relations between Sweden and Egypt across various fields, noting that SKF has played a pivotal role in supporting and advancing Egypt’s heavy industries through the provision of advanced technologies and investment in local talent.
