Since opening, The Ned Doha has become a name synonymous with culinary mastery, home to nine distinctive restaurants. Now, further enriching and elevating the guest experience, the hotel has appointed two new F&B powerhouses to its team. With Martin Cahill overseeing culinary operations as Executive Chef and Fabrizio Corbo leading the team at Cecconi’s as Restaurant Manager, The Ned Doha is set to reinforce its position as one of Doha’s premier dining destinations.
Martin Cahill – Executive Chef
Joining the team as the new Executive Chef, Martin Cahill will oversee all aspects of culinary operations across The Ned Doha’s nine restaurants. Bringing over 25 years of global gastronomy experience to his new role, Martin will ensure each of the property’s dining concepts continues to raise the bar, maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence and world-class service that The Ned Doha is known for.
Having helmed kitchens in some of the world’s most prestigious luxury hotels and restaurants, Martin’s culinary style is defined by its innovative edge and effortless adaptability. Taking inspiration from his illustrious career, spanning the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, he blends international influences and local ingredients to craft distinctive, culturally attuned dishes. His talent for fresh thinking and versatility makes him a natural fit for The Ned Doha, where he’ll ensure each restaurant retains its unique character and authenticity.
In addition to his creativity in the kitchen, Martin is also a passionate mentor who believes in nurturing diverse, multicultural teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning, training, and development. Leading by example and empowering his team to grow and take pride in their craft, he’s set to inspire the culinary brigade and elevate the dining experience at The Ned Doha to new heights.
Fabrizio Corbo – Restaurant Manager of Cecconi’s
Originally from Italy, Fabrizio Corbo brings not only an impressive career spanning over 20 years in international leadership but also a lifelong passion for authentic Italian hospitality. In his new role as Restaurant Manager at Cecconi’s, The Ned Doha’s beloved northern Italian concept, Fabrizio’s years of experience and love for the cuisine will come together to create memorable guest experiences, delivered with care and precision.
Having worked across Latin America and Europe, Fabrizio speaks four languages fluently – Italian, English, Spanish, and Portuguese – a skill that allows him to connect effortlessly with guests and colleagues from all walks of life. What truly sets him apart is his warmth, his attention to the little things, and his joy in sharing Italian dining culture, where great food and meaningful connection go hand in hand. About The Ned:
Created in 2017 by Soho House Founder, Nick Jones, The Ned originated in London in the former Midland Bank headquarters, designed by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens in 1924. The space includes private members’ club Ned’s Club and a private events floor, alongside ten restaurants and 250 bedrooms which are available to the public.
The Ned expanded in 2022 to include The Ned NoMad in New York and in 2023 to include The Ned Doha in Qatar, with each building having their own architectural significance and history. Every property is slightly different depending on its location, but the ethos of The Ned remains the same; to create a space for like-minded professionals to meet, work and have a good time. Ned’s Club membership gives access to dedicated spaces such as members-only bars and restaurants, health clubs and rooftop spaces. The membership team also curates a program of monthly events, ranging from talks with thought leaders to seasonal parties and members’ spaces at festivals. Learn more about
