Successful Conclusion of the 34th Edition of COMEX Oman 2025: Over 150 Deals Signed and 430 Participants

The 34th edition of COMEX Oman 2025, the leading technology and innovation exhibition and conference, concluded yesterday, Thursday, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. Held from September 8 to 11, the event witnessed broad participation from government entities, global corporations, and tech entrepreneurs.

This year’s edition achieved unprecedented milestones, with more than 150 deals and cooperation agreements signed across multiple sectors, including digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and electronic payments. A total of 35 government entities participated, while the overall number of local and international participants exceeded 430, reinforcing the event’s status as a leading regional platform for technology and innovation.

In support of entrepreneurship, COMEX 2025 hosted 152 tech startups that showcased their innovations to investors and decision-makers, offering a unique opportunity for local and regional networking with potential partners. Visitor numbers exceeded 90,000 over the four-day event, highlighting both the strong turnout and the vibrancy of the region’s technology market.

This year’s edition was marked by the sponsorship and participation of major global telecom and technology companies, including Omantel, Ooredoo, Vodafone, Google Cloud, Huawei, Oracle, and Fortinet, alongside leading banks such as Bank Muscat and Ahli Bank, in addition to innovation-supporting institutions such as Madayn and Riyada. The event also received strong backing from prominent Omani ministries and government bodies, further enhancing its significance both locally and internationally.

Commenting on the success of the event, Mr. Amr Baabood, CEO of Arab Data Analytics Company, the organizer of the exhibition, said:
“We are proud of the tangible achievements delivered by COMEX 2025 this year, which reflect the growing confidence in the exhibition as a regional platform that unites government, the private sector, and entrepreneurs. This edition has proven that innovation and collaboration are the pathway to a more sustainable and competitive digital future.”

For his part, Mr. Mohamed Sami, General Manager of Arab Data Analytics Company, affirmed that this edition marks a turning point in the history of the exhibition, stating:
“The scale of both local and international participation, along with the number of deals signed, reflects the growing importance of COMEX as a pivotal technology event in the region. We remain committed to continuously developing and elevating the exhibition to maintain its role as a global platform for innovation and digital transformation.”

Prominent Egyptian Participation
Egypt had a remarkable presence at COMEX Oman 2025 through several companies specializing in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and financial technology, showcasing their latest innovations and digital solutions to investors and participating government entities. This participation reflected Egypt’s growing role as a regional hub for technology and digital transformation, underscoring its commitment to fostering innovation and building strategic partnerships with Gulf markets, in alignment with Oman Vision 2040 and Egypt Vision 2030.

The closing ceremony included the recognition of several government entities, influencers, and local companies. The event concluded with a reaffirmation that the next edition of COMEX will continue to serve as a vital bridge linking governments, global corporations, and startups, to drive innovation and strengthen the digital economy, in line with Oman Vision 2040 and broader regional and international digital transformations.
