Hisham Abdel Rasoul, CEO of Raya Information Technology, emphasized that investing in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer optional but a strategic necessity for companies striving to survive and grow in today’s business landscape. Speaking on the sidelines of CAISEC 2025—Cairo’s premier cybersecurity and information protection conference—Abdel Rasoul underscored the growing role of AI and cybersecurity in shaping the future of business. The fourth edition of the event, which ran from May 25–26, 2025, brought together industry leaders to explore the latest breakthroughs in digital security and artificial intelligence.
During the conference, Abdel Rasoul revealed that Raya was gearing up to launch a dedicated AI solutions division in the second half of the year. This initiative, set to begin in the financial sector, aimed to leverage specialized AI solutions to elevate future services, with a broader roadmap extending across other key industries. This step marked a pivotal move in Raya’s overarching vision to expand its service portfolio, deliver cutting-edge technological solutions, and drive innovation with a strong focus on sustainability.
He had stated, “AI is no longer just about optimizing operational processes—it has become a fundamental driver of business sustainability. AI enables the development of intelligent systems that adapt to rapid market shifts and make data-driven decisions. At the same time, cybersecurity serves as the cornerstone for protecting these systems and ensuring business continuity amid the growing risks of cyber threats accompanying digital transformation.”
At CAISEC 2025, Raya showcased its latest innovative security solutions designed to protect enterprises and accelerate digital transformation, in collaboration with Cisco. Among the key technologies presented was Cisco Hypershield, an AI-powered solution that proactively detects and analyzes cyber threats. Additionally, Raya highlighted AI-driven cybersecurity assistants, leveraging generative AI to enhance response speed to attacks. The company also featured Cisco Duo, a multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution for securing digital identities, alongside AI for Security tools, which help organizations strengthen their security posture, reduce cyber risks, and safeguard critical data from threats.
