Contact: Leading Green Finance and the Future of Sustainability in 2024 Contact: Steps Towards a Green and Sustainable Economy in the Middle East

During September and October 2024, Contact Financial Holding proved to be more than just a market player; it emerged as a leader in sustainability, contributing to the shift towards a green economy through its participation in significant events. Through its diverse initiatives, Contact has strengthened its position as an innovative company committed to supporting eco-friendly projects.
At the 36th edition of Sahara Expo 2024, the largest agricultural gathering in the Middle East and Africa, Contact captured attention with its innovative green finance solutions. The expo, held from September 15 to 17, saw a wide attendance of specialists, investors, and visitors. Contact presented financing solutions that support sustainability in the agricultural sector by funding renewable energy projects and energy-efficient agricultural equipment.
From agriculture to transportation, Contact continued its support for green projects during the EVS Electrify! Summit held from October 10 to 12, 2024. The event provided an ideal platform for Contact to showcase its financing solutions for electric vehicles and smart mobility. With the growing demand for eco-friendly transportation, the company played a pivotal role in facilitating the transition towards a clean and sustainable future through its strategic partnerships and innovative financing solutions.
At the International Equestrian Jumping Championship in the Equestrian Valley held from October 17 to 19, Contact Financial Holding continued to solidify its position as a leader in sustainability and sports support. By participating in this prominent sporting event, the company reaffirmed its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), linking the promotion of good health and well-being through sports with the encouragement of sustainable transportation and clean energy. This approach reflects Contact’s vision of achieving a comprehensive positive impact that extends beyond financing to include sports and the community.
In a further step in its pioneering journey, Forbes Middle East selected Said Zater, CEO of Contact Financial Holding Group, as one of the sustainability leaders for 2024, ranking first among companies in the green finance sector. This recognition underscores the group’s commitment to considering all economic, social, and environmental dimensions and its active role in supporting the green economy and providing sustainable financial solutions for companies and individuals.
During the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders’ Summit held in Abu Dhabi on October 17 and 18, Zater shared his vision on the importance of adhering to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards in building a more sustainable future for companies and communities. He received an award in recognition of his efforts to integrate sustainable governance into the company’s operations.
Commenting on Contact’s recent achievements in sustainability, Said Zater said, “Sustainability is not just a strategy for our company; it is a long-term commitment to building a future that considers both the environment and society. We believe that innovation and green finance are the main drivers for achieving a real transformation towards a sustainable economy, and at Contact, we are committed to leading and supporting this transformation with all our capabilities.”
