Egypt’s automotive sector witnessed a historic milestone with a blockbuster launch event hosted by SN Automotive, the formed joint venture between Al Safy Group and El Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company, announced a strategic partnership with Chinese automotive heavyweight Dongfeng Motor Corporation, signaling a new era of mobility options for Egyptian consumers.
The ceremony, staged at Egypt International Exhibition Center, spanned more than 10,000 square meters and featured world-class presentation technology, attracting senior automotive officials, car distributors and dealers, public figures, and top-tier media professionals and influencers.
During the event, SN Automotive officially unveiled a diverse fleet of Dongfeng vehicles, including gasoline-powered, fully electric, hybrid (HEV), range-extended (REEV), and plug-in hybrid models. The rollout aims to satisfy a wide range of Egyptian consumer needs—balancing advanced technologies with competitive pricing.
Dongfeng’s entry into Egypt via SN Automotive signals a transformative moment for the local market, ushering in modern mobility solutions that cater to a broad cross-section of Egyptian consumers seeking reliable, advanced, and affordable vehicles. This move also introduces an unprecedented level of after-sales service to Egyptian drivers.
“We are not simply launching vehicles—we’re launching a new vision for Egypt’s automotive future,” said Eng. Yehia Abdel Halim, CEO of SN Automotive. “Our partnership with Dongfeng opens the door to a new era of quality and variety, perfectly aligned with the aspirations of the Egyptian customer.”
Liao Qingli, General Manager of Dongfeng Africa RHQ, added: “We are counting on this partnership with SN Automotive to make a strong entry into Egypt, one of the region’s most promising markets. We’ve chosen Egypt to be a central hub for manufacturing and spare parts for the entire African continent. We’re committed to delivering high-quality cars at competitive prices with a safe, fully integrated driving experience.”
Tarek Mostafa Hussein, SN Automotive’s Head of Sales and Network Development, emphasized a customer-first philosophy: “Sales are only the beginning. Real value lies in our after-sales service. That’s why we’re building a nationwide distribution and service network—from the Delta to Upper Egypt. Our aggressive expansion plan includes 25 sales and service points in the first year alone, with spare parts pre-stocked even before vehicle arrival. It’s all about attracting new customers and deepening the loyalty of SN Automotive’s existing base.”
