Coca-Cola HBC Egypt continues its longstanding partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation throughout the holy month of Ramadan with a series of food and community support initiatives developed to reach more than one million beneficiaries nationwide. The collaboration is a tangible expression of the company’s commitment to support the communities in which it operates and foster a culture of social solidarity and shared responsibility.
This collaboration comes as part of the “Iftar Sa’em” campaign, where Coca-Cola HBC and Misr El Kheir have collaborated on initiatives including the distribution of complete iftar meals along with company beverages, making Coca-Cola HBC Egypt’s products are part of daily iftar meals and Ramadan food cartons for families in need. These efforts ease the burden of living and strengthen food security for priority groups across Egypt.
Coca-Cola HBC and Misr El Kheir Foundation organize a daily Ramadan iftar tent in Qalyubia Governorate, welcoming fasting individuals throughout the month. Thousands of meals are served in a warm, friendly atmosphere reflecting the togetherness and compassion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In parallel, Coca-Cola HBC is launching a Ramadan Food Caravan that will travel to five of the most underserved villages across Egypt, delivering more than 1,000 meals daily to deserving families.
Beyond logistics and food support, the company runs a volunteer program involving Coca-Cola HBC Egypt employees, where teams actively pack thousands of Ramadan food cartons at Misr El Kheir’s centers, fostering a spirit of giving and teamwork embodying company values.
In this context, Adnan Topic, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Egypt, affirmed that Ramadan is a key moment to exemplifying the company’s commitment social impact. He noted that iftar initiatives act as platforms for meaningful interpersonal connection and for building bridges of trust with local communities, creating a sustainable impact that extends well beyond the holy month. He added that cooperation with trusted partners, such as Misr El Kheir Foundation, ensures that support is delivered to those who need it most with efficiency and integrity, and that the company expresses its vision to act as a genuine partner in community development.
