Over this period, DiDi has expanded its footprint in the Egyptian market, reaching a total of over 10 million users across both riders and drivers.
The ceremony brought together more than 200 attendees, including drivers and their families, media representatives, and DiDi Egypt leadership. In recognition of their dedication and service, DiDi Egypt presented top drivers with valuable prizes as a gesture of appreciation.

The event also included a session led by the Nada Foundation for Safer Egyptian Roads, where Founder and Chairperson Ms. Nihad Shelbaya highlighted the vital role drivers play as champions on the road, the shared responsibility of building a culture of safety, and the importance of supporting drivers’ wellbeing. Ms. Shelbaya further reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to advancing awareness campaigns and training initiatives that empower drivers, enhance their capabilities, and contribute to safer journeys for all.
During the ceremony, DiDi Egypt also announced the launch of the Captain Rewards Program, an initiative built for captains by listening closely to their needs. The program recognizes their dedication, reliability, and service, turning their efforts into tangible benefits designed to support both their daily lives and long-term success. Through this program, drivers will be able to enjoy exclusive discounts on essentials such as fuel and car maintenance, receive special perks including priority support, service fee reductions, and invitations to recognition events, and gain milestone rewards that grow in value as they progress with the platform.
