As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the healthcare sector and enhancing quality of life in Egypt, LG Egypt has announced a new phase of its community initiatives to provide periodic maintenance services for the air purifiers it donated two years ago to Fayoum Oncology Center. The initiative aims to ensure the continued efficiency of these appliances in purifying the center’s air and maintaining a safer environment for patients and staff.
This step comes in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation, reaffirming the success of their long-standing partnership in supporting Egyptian society, particularly in vital sectors such as healthcare.
Through this initiative, LG seeks to maintain the performance of its appliances that contribute to improving indoor air quality in hospitals and medical centers — aligning with its vision of promoting a healthier, cleaner environment in harmony with its global slogan, “Life’s Good.”

LG’s efforts also extend to offering regular cleaning services for various home appliances — such as washing machines, refrigerators, and air conditioners — as part of an integrated strategy to maintain appliance efficiency, extend their lifetime, reduce energy and detergent consumption, and provide a more comfortable and healthier user experience.
Cleaning services are carried out by a specialized team that disassembles the products, cleans internal dynamic parts, and sterilizes them using UVNano technology, an advanced ultraviolet sterilization method that eliminates 99% of germs and bacteria.
For example, in washing machines, the service removes residues from water inlets and outlets and door rubber, eliminates detergent buildup, and maintains fresh-smelling laundry. It also prevents mold and fungi by removing moisture inside the drum, enhances washing efficiency and water circulation, extends the machine’s lifetime, and helps reduce electricity and detergent consumption.
Additionally, LG’s After-Sales Service Department provides a range of specialized cleaning and sterilization products, including washing machine cleaning powder that removes 99% of bacteria and germs, as well as water filters, air and odor filters for refrigerators, and filters for air purifiers, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and performance across all home appliances.
