Africa’s most influential decision-makers across government, finance, and industry will convene at the inaugural Alamein Africa Forum from 25–27 June 2026 in Alamein, Egypt. The landmark gathering is co-organised by the Government of Egypt, the African Union Commission, the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), and AUDA-NEPAD.
Spearheading the Forum on behalf of the government of Egypt, H.E. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation & Egyptian Expatriates, commented on what the Forum wants to achieve. “The Alamein Africa Forum – Go63 is the launchpad for partnerships, policies, and opportunities that will translate Agenda 2063’s vision into concrete economic reality and define Africa’s economic trajectory for the next decades. This is a platform that will be focused on building continental champions, and driving/advancing private sector needs at the highest level. No one but ourselves will deliver for the continent. This Forum leads from the front.”
Taking place immediately after the Afreximbank Annual Meetings and in parallel with the African Union Mid-Year Summit, the Forum is positioned to become the continent’s foremost platform, converging political commitment with commercial ambition. The summit will bring together more than 1,000 senior decision-makers from over 60 countries, including Heads of State and Government, ministers, continental institution leaders, chief executives, investors, and innovators.
The programme features a Presidential Breakfast Roundtable, bringing together Heads of State and business leaders in a closed-door dialogue to forge a new public private partnership framework for accelerated continental development and address the most pressing constraints to investment across the continent.
Five tracks will be run in parallel to drive substantive dialogue across the fields of Infrastructure and Connectivity, Finance and Investment Mobilisation, Trade and Critical Minerals, Innovation and Digital Transformation, and Health Market Development, with a strong focus on transformative African development corridors as the strategic vehicle for investment and implementation across these themes.
Dedicated Deal Rooms provide structured B2B and B2G matchmaking, connecting investment-ready projects with capital and African businesses with cross-border partners.
A dedicated Startup Arena will connect high-potential African entrepreneurs with institutional investors, venture capital firms, and corporate partners through curated introductions.
The Alamein Africa Forum is built for measurable impact.
