Concrete Plus marked a significant milestone in its healthcare development portfolio, following an official visit by Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, to inspect the dialysis building at Al-Arish General Hospital, ahead of its to be handed over during the current month, May, and officially inaugurated.
For years, expanding access to specialized healthcare services particularly for critical treatments such as dialysis has remained a key priority in Egypt’s development agenda. The project reflects Concrete Plus’ growing role in delivering advanced medical infrastructure and supporting underserved regions with high-quality healthcare facilities.
The new dialysis building is a fully dedicated medical facility designed to serve kidney patients, consisting of a ground floor and 3 floors. The facility is equipped with approximately 85 dialysis machines, distributed across intensive care units, isolation rooms, and specialized treatment areas.
The building includes dedicated dialysis units for children, as well as separate sections for patients with infectious diseases such as Hepatitis C and HIV, in addition to treatment areas for non-infectious cases. The facility also features advanced medical laboratories, including CPR and DNA labs, enhancing its capacity to deliver comprehensive and specialized care.
Since 2021, the project began as part of broader efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in North Sinai. Today, it stands as a critical addition to the governorate, aiming to improve access to life-saving treatment and elevate the standard of care for local communities.
The visit highlighted not only the progress of the project, but also its expected impact on thousands of patients and families across the region. Once operational, the facility is expected to serve approximately 85 patients, supported by a workforce more than 250 of medical and administrative staff.

This aligns with the highest international standards to deliver optimal medical services. The hospital currently serves more than 75% of the population of North Sinai Governorate.”
Concrete Plus emphasized that the successful delivery of the project is the result of the collective efforts of its teams across all stages of development, including engineers, technical staff, and project workers, both past and present.
Looking ahead, the company aims to continue expanding its footprint in the healthcare sector, contributing to national efforts to enhance medical infrastructure and ensure equitable access to quality healthcare services.
