“MUST” Wins Enactus Egypt 2025 Under Orange Egypt’s 19-Year Sponsorship

Orange Egypt proudly announces that Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) has secured first place in the Enactus Egypt National Competition 2025, an achievement made possible through Orange’s continued sponsorship for the 19th consecutive year. The win underscores Orange’s ongoing commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs and fostering impactful, community-driven innovations.
Held on July 29–30, the national finals featured over 30 teams from universities across Egypt, each presenting innovative projects addressing real-world social and technological challenges.
MUST’s winning project, titled “Bokra”, offered an innovative solution to agricultural and health challenges by rehabilitating degraded land and using the Salicornia plant as a healthy nutritious salt alternative, enhancing food security and driving sustainable development. With this win, MUST team will represent Egypt at the Enactus World Cup 2025, set to take place in Thailand this September, aiming to bring home Egypt’s eighth global title.
As part of its strategic sponsorship, Orange Egypt also hosted a dedicated booth for Orange Digital Center (ODC) during the competition. The Booth offered participants and attendees an immersive experience into ODC’s wide range of programs in digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup empowerment. Visitors had the opportunity to explore tailored initiatives focused on upskilling youth and preparing them for the evolving digital economy.
Additionally, Orange Egypt participated in the second edition of the Enactus Career Summit, held on the event’s third day, to connect with emerging talent and showcase diverse career opportunities available to students and recent graduates.

On this occasion, Hisham Mahran, CEO and Managing Director of Orange Egypt, expressed his pride in sponsoring the prestigious Enactus competition for 19 consecutive years — a long-standing commitment through which Orange has empowered and supported generations of youth and entrepreneurs. “By engaging university students at an early stage, we aim to strengthen their ability to create real impact in Egypt’s entrepreneurship and technology sectors,” he said.
“At Orange, our support for young entrepreneurs goes beyond empowerment, we stay by their side until their projects are launched and making a real, positive impact in their communities.” He added
Mahran also congratulated Misr University for Science and Technology and all participating universities, praising the exceptional quality and innovation showcased throughout the competition. “This event once again highlights Orange’s vital and ongoing role, in collaboration with its development partners, in empowering youth and fostering innovation across Egypt,” he concluded.
For her part, Fatma Serry, CEO of Enactus Egypt, congratulated Misr University for Science and Technology and expressed her pride in the long-standing partnership with Orange Egypt. She also highlighted her appreciation for Egypt’s strong presence in the global landscape of youth innovation, entrepreneurship, and positive social impact.
She added, “We are especially proud of the support from our partners, who have helped us solidify Egypt’s footprint in the global innovation and creativity scene. Egyptian universities have already won the Enactus World Cup seven times, including five consecutive wins, and we hope that 2025 will mark our eighth global title.”
