United Hospitality Management Accelerates India Expansion with Three New Hotel Signings with IHG Hotels & Resorts

United Hospitality Management (UHM), a global leader in luxury and mixed-use hospitality management, has strengthened its partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts through the signing of three new hotel management agreements that will add 182 keys to its growing India portfolio. The additions include Garner Corbett, voco Kanatal and Garner Ahmedabad, marking another milestone in UHM’s India expansion since entering the market through the acquisition of Rosastays in December 2025.

Scheduled to open between 2027 and 2029, the three properties reflect UHM’s strategy of building a balanced portfolio across India’s evolving hospitality landscape. Garner Corbett, a 50-key hotel, will cater to the growing demand for experiential wildlife tourism in Uttarakhand. The 92-key voco Kanatal will offer an upscale mountain retreat in one of North India’s emerging leisure destinations, while the 40-key Garner Ahmedabad will strengthen UHM’s presence in one of western India’s fastest-growing commercial centres. Collectively, the three signings reinforce the company’s focus on partnering with owners to develop professionally managed hospitality assets across both leisure and business destinations.

“India’s hospitality sector is entering a new phase of growth, driven by rising domestic travel, improving infrastructure and increasing investor confidence. Against this backdrop, UHM sees India as one of its most strategic growth markets. Our objective is to build a diversified hospitality platform that delivers long-term value for owners while bringing international expertise to the Indian market,” said Carlos Leal, Executive Chairman and Board Member, United Hospitality Management.

Since entering India, UHM has now signed 10 properties and established dedicated commercial, operations and technical services capabilities, strengthened its leadership team and put in place the governance and technology platforms required to support its next phase of expansion.

UHM follows a brand-agnostic, owner-first model that enables it to partner with leading international hospitality companies including Marriott, Hyatt, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Accor, Wyndham and Yotel. By identifying the brand and operating model best suited to each asset, the company helps owners maximise performance while creating distinctive guest experiences across luxury, upscale and lifestyle hospitality segments.

“Hotel owners today are seeking strategic operating partners who can maximise asset performance while preserving brand integrity. Our role is to combine international expertise with deep local market knowledge to develop the right positioning for every asset and deliver sustainable commercial performance,” said Klaus Assmann, Chief Executive Officer, UHM Middle East, India & Southeast Asia.

Today, UHM has a portfolio of 24 operational and pipeline properties in India and is building a robust development pipeline towards its long-term ambition of managing more than 100 hotels across the country. This momentum reflects the confidence hotel owners have placed in UHM’s owner-centric operating model and reinforces its position as a preferred hospitality management partner.

“These three signings reflect the confidence owners have placed in our operating model and mark another step in expanding our presence across India. We continue to see strong opportunities across gateway cities, emerging leisure destinations, mixed-use developments and branded residences. Our aim is to remain focused on partnering with the right owners and the right brands,” said Deepika Arora, Managing Director, United Hospitality Management India.

Looking ahead, UHM is in advanced discussions on multiple hotel management agreements and strategic partnerships across India and Southeast Asia spanning luxury and upscale hotels, resorts, mixed-use developments and branded residential projects. UHM is also evaluating proprietary wellness, fitness and food and beverage concepts that will further strengthen its integrated hospitality platform.

Today, United Hospitality Management (UHM) manages and supports a rapidly expanding portfolio of mixed-use hospitality destinations and branded residences across Europe, the Middle East, the United States, North Africa, and India. The company partners with some of the world’s most respected hospitality brands, including IHG, Marriott, Accor, Hyatt, Wyndham, and Yotel, delivering tailored management solutions that enhance asset value and long-term performance.

Beyond hotel management, UHM has built a diversified portfolio of hospitality-led business verticals. This includes a collection of more than 20 proprietary food and beverage concepts available for franchise and management, award-winning wellness brands including Serenity – The Art of Well Being and Pure by Serenity, and the fitness and active lifestyle brand Active by Serenity. The company’s expertise also extends to internationally accredited sports and leisure facilities, including golf and football academies, tennis and padel clubs, as well as luxury and lifestyle beach clubs, creating integrated lifestyle destinations that deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing returns for owners and investors.
