L’Oréal Egypt, through its dermatological skincare brand La Roche-Posay, host “Melodies of Hope,” a charity concert featuring Omar Khairat on May 15, 2026, with all ticket-sale proceeds going directly to the Baheya Foundation for Women’s Cancer Hospital. The event continues La Roche-Posay’s “Fight with Care” partnership with Baheya Foundation, launched in 2024 to support women suffering from cancer through physical and psychological care.
The concert aims to mobilize both funding and awareness, harnessing the transformative power of music to support women battling cancer in Egypt, while reaffirming La Roche-Posay’s commitment to empowering them through care, confidence, and dignity.
Launched in 2024, “Fight with Care” was created to address treatment-related skin side effects experienced by many cancer patients during and after therapy. Under the partnership, La Roche-Posay supported the establishment of a dedicated training room at Baheya, funded staff hiring and training, and provided essential skincare products, through patient sessions, healthcare professional training, and broader support programs.
The program includes skincare and makeup sessions for fighters, as well as awareness and educational activities for patients, families, and healthcare providers. It has also supported a broader schedule of activities & workshops aimed at improving quality of life and providing psychological support throughout treatment.
In 2025, the initiative reached more than 40,000 individuals. Most recently, La Roche-Posay launched a dedicated Dermo-Oncology Department led by Professor Rehab Hegazy, as a volunteer movement among dermatologists in Egypt, marking an important step in integrative cancer care and quality-of-life support for oncology patients in Egypt.
Melodies of Hope was more than an evening of music; it is a moment of unity, compassion, and purpose. Through La Roche-Posay’s partnership with Baheya Foundation, L’Oréal Egypt hopes to turn every note into meaningful support for women facing cancer, celebrating their courage and reminding them that they are surrounded by care, solidarity, and hope.
